Description

Excellent Opportunity for an experienced Office Administrator with experience in a healthcare and/or graduate medical education setting.
With oversight and direction from the Program Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational management of the Family Medicine Residency Program. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national ACGME accreditation policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
The Program Coordinator will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and residents regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree Preferred will consider Associate's Degree. Minimum of 5 years' office administration experience in a healthcare and/or graduate medical education setting. Ideally have a minimum 3 years of experience as a program coordinator for a residency or fellowship training program. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience with New Innovations software or other web-based GME Software.
